Building from tradition
My passion for building started when I was a kid tinkering around my father's woodshop in Charleston, SC.
It wasn’t until years later, when I was living abroad with my family in a small Finnish town of 700 people, that I rediscovered my love for building. With nothing but a woodshop, spare time and a little cabin fever, I came to realize that carpentry was how I want to serve my community.
Upon returning to the American south, I continued my development in the building trades and eventually became a licensed general contractor in 2020.
Over the last decade, I’ve had the great opportunity to build a professional network of my own in the Asheville area.
Today, I strive to continue my father’s legacy with Platt Construction by building lasting relationships through dedicated service, common sense, and a good sense of humor!
